What is artwork about? : Andy Warhol is best known for his paintings of Campbell's soup and celebrities like Marilyn Monroe. But before he painted those icons of pop art, Warhol worked as an illustrator for the I. Miller Shoe Company. There, he gained success in painting playful, detailed, and beautiful images of, shoes. Well,he basically loved shoes and that is why he painted them.
