To me, this piece represents love and how it encompasses everyone. Haring was a homosexual who died from AIDS in 1990. Considering this, I feel that this piece represents how love doesn't have to be stereotyped. This is especially portrayed by the unisexual figures that are present in a lot Haring’s works.
